Pavel Vladimirovich Pokrovskiy was a prominent scientist in the field of mineralogy, geochemistry and ore geology, as
well as a specialist in tungsten and gold deposits. He was a talented organizer science and educated 17 candidates of
geological and mineralogical sciences.
