Ecological consequences of long-term storage of technogenic objects like “Dumps of the Allarechensk field” (the Pechengsk area of Murmansk region)

The environmental pollution spread from the wastes of mining enterprises in places of their accumulation is illustrated by technogenic object on Allarechenskoe deposit (the Pechengsky region of Murmansk region, Russia). Described are processes of change of chemical and mineralogical composition of the ores, bringing not only to environmental degradation, but also to considerable depreciation of technogenic object as a source of mineral resources.
