Major research interests: automation, ultrasonic control, IT, GeoIT, control systems, engineering pedagogy, mineral processing, instruments and methods of control.

Academician of the Academy of Mining Sciences of Ukraine, Corresponding Member of the International Academy of Computer Science and Systems. He was awarded the badge of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine "Excellence in Education of Ukraine" and "For scientific achievements", the Diploma of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Diploma of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council, the distinction of the State Department of Intellectual Property, etc. He has 9 patents of the USA, Great Britain, Canada, Germany , France, India and Sweden, 9 patents of Ukraine and 50 copyright certificates.
